In the examples above, the client ordered a door but had completely different expectations on what they could put there.
They originally wanted to install an elegent long pull handle that is locked with a deadbolt but not latched with a proper gripset but rather with a roller latch.
We advised the client that in Montreal, this type of locking system is minimalist and beautiful looking, but not reccommended due to the fact that
the door will blow open if the the wind acts up and if the deadbolt is not engaged. Also, cold air will enter the home without a positive latching system.
